A NEW DIRECTION
WELCOME TO THE NEW AND IMPROVED XCCW....
We are going to shake things up around here... A lil background to the XCCW....
When I started this wrestling league little did i know what directions to take this league in to make it more fun for everyone. i started this league as the PWA so named after booker t's promotion Pro Wrestling Alliance back on thq's svr 2007-2008 games. in 2009 on the svr game I changed the name of the league to UPW
without really changing much anything else. my thinking back then was if you change the name, the league will be better. but, it wasnt. I was still doing the same things and falling into the same ruts. So, during the 2009 svr game I experimented with having 2 shows, one for created caws and one for In game default caws. it was too much, too inundating for one man to keep up and/or in track with.so i dumped the idea of using created wrestlers.
In svr 2010 I thought by changing the name one more time to XCCW it would shake things up again but a name change wasnt our answer and the answer would always be as you can say the "tip of my tongue" but i couldnt really place what was always exactly missing out. what my members, YOU the XCCW really needed and it took me till now to finally realize it......
GET READY TO GO GUNDNAM STYLE ON THE XCCW.....
Thats right we are going GIMMICK STYLE here in XCCW. everyone will create there own gimmick there own Individual created guy. complete with created signature and finisher. every member will be charged with creating there own wrestler,signature for that wrestler and finisher, give your wrestlers a gimmick, with a no more than 6 step signature and finisher and we will be going gimmick. once your gimmick is finished it will be posted here on the website and thats what you will be known as from now on.
You see for the past 5 years my league has been using the default characters given to us by thq. with no originality or thought i always believed in just using the default characters as a way as playing "fair". but fairness is only measured against those you play against. i missed the mark time and time again trying to reinvent the XCCW, to make it better, for you, for me, and for everyone. I finally found the answer. That answer is GIMMICK. with what we could now do with the game, why not make use of the creation system and create. Use your imagination boys, the XCCW is now going GIMMICK STYLE.
So in final, build your wrestler, your gimmick, because we are breaking free from the default in game superstars we get bored of using. some of our titles will be defended using in game superstars while the more important titles will be decided with your gimmick wrestler. so get ready to break free and get ready to go GUNDNAM STYLE on the XCCW.
